You feel your heartbeat through the pain in your ribs. You look towards the stairs and the ground is oscillating. The high pitched hum filling your head is blocking any of your focus. Your feet are not coorperating with your mind and you drunkenly head towards the stairs. Each step is a challenge. You climb the first flight of stairs. You continue on, powered by your will to live. You know if you give up, you die. Making your way step by step wheezing through your teeth as your ribs try to leave your body with every breath. You are sure you could crush rocks between your jaws.
