I would rather have made what I could into fully fleshed-out gameplay than have connected all the nodes but compromised on user experience, including art and UI. This was not done from lack of care for my game; on the contrary, I had to pull a couple all-nighters to get it to this stage (including one last night)!
I got a second dose of the COVID vaccine a couple days ago, and the side effects hit harder than I anticipated; I believe that is what knocked me off track. In the game files are some assets that thus could not be used as planned, including some setup for a whole branch of the story in the Twine file, and not including a number of assets I made/collected but haven't uploaded (which I can provide if necessary).
Even though the story is a bit shorter, I think this is the form in which my characters shine their best. For me, this game is their stage. With time I'd love to implement all of my game as envisioned, but I hope you enjoy it now!/* Caching audio */
