As they made their way out,⥱ Yale School of Art Graphic Design MFA 2023 Thesis Exhibition ⥱ On view April 25 – May 2, 2023 ⥱ Reception Saturday, April 29, 6–8 pm ⥱ 1156 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT ⥱ We needed a story to string together the works and thoughts of 17 designers. So we wrote with each other’s words, we wrote with artificial intelligence by feeding our keywords and prompts, and we wrote with objects. We mixed our own voices and glued them together with algorithmically generated voices. ⥱ What emerged at the end is an AI-assisted cut-up—perhaps a fairy tale, a myth, a manifesto, a lie, or, a perfect poem, ⥱ featuring work by graphic design MFA 2023: Paul Bille, Filip Birkner, Samantha Callahan, Andrew Connors, Sarah Elawad, Osvald Landmark, M.C.
