8. Maybe make it a bit more obvious what to do with the textbox
Creator Notes:
I was a little disappointed that they were unable to really make it into actually exploring the house. I think I aimed a bit too high with the game since I spent so much time covering all possible options that I started running out of time with the fine tuning of the actual gameplay. Next time I do a project, I should focus more on making a strong foundation and then adding to it rather than aiming high right off of the bat. That being said, I am still proud of my game and think that it was a worthwhile investment of time. It might not be as pretty as it could have been but all of the mechanics have been programmed in and there are no major errors as far as I know.
Walkthrough:
Go to the shed and get the bolt cutters and the screwdriver. Go to the living room and inspect the rug. Try to pull up the floorboard and fail. Go to bathroom and inspect object. Go inspect rug again and pry it up with the object (which is a crowbar btw). You find a diary and a flashlight. Go to the kitchen and inspect the cupboards. You find batteries. Go to your inventory and inspect diary to read it and inspect the flashlight (or batteries it doesn’t matter) to put the batteries in the flashlight. Now go to the living room and take the picture off the wall. Go to the study now that you have a flashlight and inspect the picture in your inventory. It tells you the mother’s name and you can use it to get into the computer. Read the journals on the computer. Go to confront father now. You find out he’s dead and run out of the room. Go to Judas’ room and grab the blanket. Return to father’s room and find the note. If you want to make the cure, go outside using the bolt cutters and kill the squirrel twice and pocket it. Now go to the study and put it in the machine.
