Welcome to HELLFIRE.
There are four characters in Hell: a dancing Imp, a three-headed Hydra, an amicable secretary named Oscar and the Devil himself. To leave Hell, you must interact with each of these characters (and a few objects) at least once. Imbedded within these interactions are puzzles you must solve to obtain a code; it is only with this master code that you will be able to escape eternal damnation and rise to freedom.
Horns, angry eyes and forked tail for classic devil look
Nipples and belt buckle for flash and humor
The Imp is an energetic servant who enjoys dancing.
HAMT on the Greek column is an anagram for MATH, a major hint for the Imp’s puzzle
The Imp’s different hand motions represent math symbols (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication). Gamers are able to solve the Imp’s puzzle by counting the number of jumps between his hand motions and creating a formula.
The Hydra is the Devil’s favorite pet and is kept behind a cage due to its dangerous nature
It is the most colorful and complex sprite in Hell
Oscar is the Devil’s secretary and the primary source for hints in this game
The first (and easiest) puzzle in the game lies on Oscar’s desk: a crossword puzzle
It is unknown why Oscar works for the Devil; perhaps he was tricked many years ago
